Nightrider 2011
On Saturday I took part in a charity event - Nightrider 2011 - 60 miles bicycle ride from Alexandra Palace to Crystal Palace and back, Raising money for World Jewish Relief. About 2000 riders filled the street of London, raising money for over 200 different charities. It has been a surreal experience to cycle through the centre of London at one o’clock in the morning. A chance to see London from a unique angle, we have been exposed to both the busy weekend nightlife as well as the silent sleepy streets of the capital. Nightrider was a well organised, feel good event and raising money for World Jewish Relief is definitely worth the pain and muscle ache.
